So, I’ve been at this author thing for about seven years now.

I’ve been a writer all my life, but 2017 was when I began seriously looking into publishing my first release. Along this journey, I’ve met so many wonderful leaders, and have amplified their voices and those of other authors.

Recently, I’ve been blessed to connect with like-minded authors that actually have a true and mutual interest in the work that we do. I even have been blessed by veteran authors who have gone to great lengths to help promote my work and are genuinely proud to amplify my work.

Everyone isn’t like that, but I choose to focus on those who do.

I’m experiencing a major shift right now in my publishing journey, and I’m excited that other authors are reaching out for my support on their journey. It’s awesome to be in the position to put the positive vibes out there and drive sales for other authors and practitioners whose work will no doubt have meaningful impact.

One of those authors is Dr. Summer Allen. She knew my work before someone connected me to her based on our very similar interests—bringing science to culture to create excellent leaders. She was in the room in Washington D.C. when I presented about the power of positive emotion to make you a better a leader at the Executive Leadership Council’s Midlevel Management Symposium.

When we finally met by video call, we connected on so many levels. So I’m absolutely thrilled to be in conversation with her about her first book when she hosts her launch event here in Dallas.

The book is called “Lose the Debate: A Practical Guide to Emotional Intelligence and Successful Dialogue.”(https://a.co/d/bU50Drp)

I’ll be sharing more details about the live and in-person event and this work soon, but in the meantime, you want to get your hands on this book because communicating is paramount for excellent leadership, and Dr. Summer brings the credentials and evidence-based strategies to show you how to do that while leveraging EQ to get you there.

Plan to come out and see us. Save the date: 6-9 p.m., May 3, 2024. More to come!
